because i have not been to a themed party in yonks!!

although my get-up wasn’t exactly in the pinkest of the shade

i chose one that showed a subtle shade of pink

the present? pink of course, hehe

i’ll let the picchas do the talking ;)

excited as i was

i left at the stroke of midnight

or maybe a little after 

hearsay the crowd got bigger and bigger

and everyone was merry and drunk, in a good way

Another mundane day

A year ago

i would have been very happy

not doing anything but just flicking

from one channel to another on the idiot box

today i'm bored to the skull

sitting through dramas and sitcoms and what nots

never would i have thought

this day would come

i am so depressed

my life is pathetic because

instead of looking forward to weekends

i'm actually longing for a job

now that i'm almost fully recovered
staying home is probably the worst thing on earth
especially during the day
when frenemies are away or out at work

i cannot even imagine
how some people can actually cope with this
sleep during the day
and go out and play by night

no i can't take it anymore
i need to shout it all out, let it all out
everyone around me seems to have
an agenda or task of their own

me?

on a separate note
it was B's lunar birthday yesterday
we celebrated it again
this time with my family

hope he is happy
if i can't be happy at least
i wish that people around me
can be happy

btw while surfin the net
i read that the medication i am on
has a "horriterrible" side effect
WEIGHT GAIN

so no matter what i do
diet, exercise or eat less
i still will put on weight, meaning
even if i were to live on water
i'd still be fat

i feel like ending my life

Happy Birthday

Malaysia!!

but hor, there is no festive ambience whatsoever

some firework display last night

but that didn't even last 5 minutes * roll eyes

but idc because all i care is that B doesn't have to work today

and he can accompany me today all day

but he didn't

i think his boss needs him more than i do

so much for public holiday

no wonder he hates being in the construction line

he promised me he'd be back in a while

knowing him, a while could last one whole afternoon

aiya this feels more like my daily routine

wait wait wait till the day is over, say 5.30pm 

and that's when i and the rest of my fairy friends come out and play

i don't believe it, i check what the time is

and it shows 4.21pm

i already dislike his boss, but this has pushed it further

to the point of disgust and detest

anyway i feel hungry

and i don't wanna snack

i want something solid, like a hamburger or something

like i wanna try the GCB burger at McD

speaking of fast food

i thought that Pizza Hut here had the new pasta wrapped in parchment paper

like those i saw on Xiaxue's blog

i buzzed them and they told me it is not available here

HAHHAHAHAHHA

i think i'm going to spend my day just watching

until around 6-ish and go home for dinner

i don't feel like this is a special day

because there is no cake, no candle, no bb, and oh i forgot

i'm excited at the thought of opening a shop

Wishing my brother

a happy birthday

from the bottom of my heart!!

although his birthday is another few days away

we celebrated it earlier

because i know he'd be busy on that day/night itself 

like every other year

i never get him a present

because a red packet means he can buy whatever he likes

rather than to give him something

he doesn't like

but me being me

i got something for him

nothing expensive *cause he has angpows already

i can safely say he'd like it

cause he loves his iPhone that much, LOR

but he won't be getting it until the day itself - Aug 12th

yes he is an August baby!!

i can't wait for my birthday

6 days after my birthday

kenny turned 27
if you read his blog *i'm sure you all do
he wrote a bunch of things he achieved at 26
well as a friend, i can tell you he did more than just that
he just had to pick out the more important ones
at his age, he has done so much more than his peers
worked harder than most of us
though his blog depicts a more laid back & luxurious traveling lifestyle
kenny in a nutshell is a workaholic as he is a traveholic

well i'm happy he is tired and has only few hours of sleep a day
that just shows how successful he is already
besides being the acclaimed blogger who bagged the
region's best entertainment blog
he also is the chief executive director at level up business
a fitness center poised to be the largest in Kuching
which is already in operations
and earns 40k from blogging


come think of it
there should be more drinks that night
at your bash kenny
not just the absente and orange juice
ish what a letdown....
oh by the way
i didn't know there was a sequel to bar zing
apparently the bunch had gone to picca for a second round
i hope he drove home safe that night

a friend's motto

which fits my birthday celebrations this year perfectly
if only i was blind-folded to my room
it would have been a jaw-dropping moment
i'd never expect to experience such a romantic moment
the first of its kind
i was so surprised i forgot my manners
and went on taking pictures
without stopping to say thank you


been donkey years since i had a romantic birthday celebration
year after year a celebration with a big crowd
usually made my day
but this was different
this was unexpected
left me gobsmacked it did


everything was carefully planned
from the balloons to the present to the cake
and in house dining
completely swept off my feet
spent my birthday eve in the swanky 5 * Pullman Kuching
just couldn't get any better


even dinner was put into careful thought
one western one asian
just in case
u know what i mean
the lamb ribs were tender and succulent
and the nasi ayam raja penyet teased my palettes to bits


when it struck midnight
there was also a cake
in my favorite flavor, cheese..
it almost got me teary-eyed
a single rose, a pair of ear rings and a cake
what more could a girl ask for

*completely bare-faced/horror/no makeup*

woke up the next day to a fine selection of bread and pastries
salad and cold cuts
yogurts and cereals
and some other normal breakkie food
baked beans, omelets, sausages, beef bacon,
porridge with condiments, soup noodles
fruits and cakes

a big thank you to that special someone whom i wish to keep anonymous
