Poslaju parcels have kept me happy the entire week

let's see, do a complete breakdown of what i got for the entire week

Monday brought me a gorgeous floral print dress

oh and uhm did i mention it was pink??

then the following day i received my hair bun

Wednesday i got my eyeliner

Today, which is Thursday the lenses finally came in

Fingers crossed I'd get my dress tomorrow

grinned from ear to ear the whole afternoon

all because of a surprise "special" gift i bought for him

i had to lie and say that i was driving my dad to the hospital to meet someone

while in actual fact i was waiting for my friend Poonie to pass me the phone

what happened was Poonie smsed me to say he would be getting a white Iphone next week

wondering if i was interested cause i was mad craving for it before i bought my berry

and that spurred the whole idea of getting my baby a new phone

the poor fella had to trade in two phones for a Bold2

and was using a cipalang phone as his main work phone

and i recalled him saying several times that his former phone, the E71 had served him well

so i quickly put an order for its presuccessor e72

at first i was a little worried that he might not be happy with my choice

why not?? since men are from mars and we superior being are from uranus

the phone comes in three colors - zodium black, metal gray and topaz brown

i got the metal gray one, with my fingers crossed hoping he'll like it

after CODing with Poonie i quickly dialed baby's number and asked if he wanted to do lunch

he said ok and i waited for him to come over to RH Plaza

then as he sat down i leaned over and said baby i lied

expression on his face? b52 hahhaha

he was shooting questions almost immediately 

then i covered his eyes and took out the box for him to feel and guess what it was

his first guess? you won't believe it

before we were together his hobby was phone hopping

even with his eyes covered he could feel by the box that it was a handphone box

so pro~ and then i let him see for himself

expression on his face? priceless. worth every dollar and cents

but not as elated as i'd hope he would be

out of the blue baby leaned over and told me to stop wasting money

ahhh but this was money well spent, at least i hope

baby then promised that i'd get my white 16gb iphone 3gs one day

i just giggled while he played with his phone

i believed i was happier than he was until

i remembered that i had just bought him a Montblanc wallet days ago

now my baby is hebat with up-to-date gadgets

it was either this one or the htc mini

but i personally didn't like the htc cause it is a pda phone

after all he just sold off his htc diamond

and his E71

now he has a bold2 and an E72

anymore chun??

and i love its gun metal finishing

so nice to hold

alas it doesn't belong to me

a friend's motto

which fits my birthday celebrations this year perfectly
if only i was blind-folded to my room
it would have been a jaw-dropping moment
i'd never expect to experience such a romantic moment
the first of its kind
i was so surprised i forgot my manners
and went on taking pictures
without stopping to say thank you


been donkey years since i had a romantic birthday celebration
year after year a celebration with a big crowd
usually made my day
but this was different
this was unexpected
left me gobsmacked it did


everything was carefully planned
from the balloons to the present to the cake
and in house dining
completely swept off my feet
spent my birthday eve in the swanky 5 * Pullman Kuching
just couldn't get any better


even dinner was put into careful thought
one western one asian
just in case
u know what i mean
the lamb ribs were tender and succulent
and the nasi ayam raja penyet teased my palettes to bits


when it struck midnight
there was also a cake
in my favorite flavor, cheese..
it almost got me teary-eyed
a single rose, a pair of ear rings and a cake
what more could a girl ask for

*completely bare-faced/horror/no makeup*

woke up the next day to a fine selection of bread and pastries
salad and cold cuts
yogurts and cereals
and some other normal breakkie food
baked beans, omelets, sausages, beef bacon,
porridge with condiments, soup noodles
fruits and cakes

a big thank you to that special someone whom i wish to keep anonymous

my parcel arrived yesterday

my super nudy grey contact lens has arrived
the seller damn efficient
put it on immediately
but there was discomfort in my left eye
took the lens out to check
there was a scratch
darn

have written to her about it
still waiting for her reply if she'll replace it
i hope she does
cause if not then i'll have to give her a bad testi
really don feel like doing that
but i cant walk around with sore eyes
they are really pretty though
and really make your eyes look M A S S I V E

No more whining please

Ok. I've made it quite clear that i haven't been very happy lately.... Now, i am no longer a whiney babooney because i have just received the colored contact lenses i ordered the other day. They look so cute, all lined up in a row. More importantly, the current ones that i am using can only last me a month, then i'll have to buy a new set. These ones, that i've imported from Korea, or wherever, can last me a year for RM40 a pair. woochacha~

Selly* tells me that the ones that i've ordered, mostly from Dueba (Korean brand) are comfortable to use and they are really easy on the eyes. i think this is very important since our eyes are very sensitive and you don't wanna use icky useless fake ones. In fact, all the dolly eye effect ones are all from Korea. In this consignment, only one was from G&G, the rest Dueba. There are a lot of fake contact lenses being sold out there, so be really careful when you place your order.

I'm also feeling better because the peeps at UOB decided to waive my credit card renewal fees. heh. I have to thank Selly for that again ;) She flicked her magic wand and wachamala i was told i didn't have to pay fees no more. BUT, i'd have to activate the card and make at least six transactions a year to qualify for the free-for-life privilege. I think i received both my cards last year but kept them away because i don't use that many cards. confusing. But since Selly works for OUB, that sorta puts me in a compromising situation. Don't get mad Selly, meow~

My exfoliant scrub i ordered from Nuskin has arrived as well. I'll be able to take them on my trip with me, woochacha. Even if i have cracked lips and a cold sore (@#$%), at least i'll still have nice smooth skin, hmmmph. Denis in HK told me that the weather has been cranking up lately, so i had trouble packing. It's hot one minute and rainy the next. Geez. Dunno, dun care. Dumped a few shorts and singlets and that's about it. You believe... And this is my new camera. eh wrong. My parent's new camera. Ta da.

I'm glad i got Sony after much deliberation and contemplation. There were so many other equally impressive cameras i got a bit confused after a while. I had my mind set on the Canon Ixus870 when i left the house, but i ended up with Sony because i've actually gotten used to it and it has a service center right here in Kuching. That just means i don't have to worry about sending it to KL for repair, yaddabaddayaddabaadaaa you get the drift.
