Missing the good days

when us three gals

would wine and dine and SHOP!!

till kingdom comes

forward one year later its like everyone has something up their sleeve

one has a new baby now

so i'm sure the new mum would be doting on her son

day and night

the other went ahead and got engaged

and wedding pictures taken

and me?

stay coup up at home

wishing money would drop from the sky

only the portion in front of my house, within the gates

wonder how long will it be before the three of us

can sit down and have coffee

better still, C L U B

Club culture vs. Movie culture

the last time i went clubbing or pub hoppin were some donkey years ago

I'm not even sure if i have any clubbing kakis anymore

spent most of my Friday and Saturday nights dancing the night away 

Do i miss it, some of you may wonder

Answer is yes i do, but that doesn't mean i'm at home doing nothing

let's just say my weekends are still occupied

but has mellowed down substantially

So what have i been up to lately

Good question

Over the past nine months since October

it has been movies movies movies

so much i decided to count all of them

the number of movie stubs i have can be nothing short of awesomeness (got such word?)

the bf is a movieholic

ok it is unfair to push the blame to him

so maybe i'm ageing and my peers are mostly married with children

well i don really care

but at the rate that we are going

there is a big possibility of lack of movies to watch

actually it has already happened twice

and for those few nights we were bored to the skull

we started out as normal patrons

in the end we decided it was better to join as a member and

get a tad discount ....kiasu heh

the numbers don't lie

watching movies can be pretty expensive too

comparable to clubbing

at least for me cause i don't drink

let us say movie tickets are RM10 on average

79x10=790

790x2 pax= RM1580

and that does not include drinks, popcorns, munchies yadda yadda yadda

or starbux and coffee bean

or a t shirt or two before the movies begin

so which movie did i like best

6 days after my birthday

kenny turned 27
if you read his blog *i'm sure you all do
he wrote a bunch of things he achieved at 26
well as a friend, i can tell you he did more than just that
he just had to pick out the more important ones
at his age, he has done so much more than his peers
worked harder than most of us
though his blog depicts a more laid back & luxurious traveling lifestyle
kenny in a nutshell is a workaholic as he is a traveholic

well i'm happy he is tired and has only few hours of sleep a day
that just shows how successful he is already
besides being the acclaimed blogger who bagged the
region's best entertainment blog
he also is the chief executive director at level up business
a fitness center poised to be the largest in Kuching
which is already in operations
and earns 40k from blogging


come think of it
there should be more drinks that night
at your bash kenny
not just the absente and orange juice
ish what a letdown....
oh by the way
i didn't know there was a sequel to bar zing
apparently the bunch had gone to picca for a second round
i hope he drove home safe that night

it was only quite some time ago when i last
celebrated John's birthday in TMI together with Cheryse, Yen them all
and the year before with Jilo, Syl and Sze Hung
and the year before for steamboat with Aubrey and I before karaoke at eagle's nest
that reminds me that my birthday is just round the corner

to sum it up
i think John had a pretty good year in 2009
colleagues helped him celebrate on the day itself at some restaurant
and then they went to barsaga for drinks
after which John met up with James who came back for an impromptu
sorry i couldn't resist


and on the day itself
though it was a working Saturday
i'm pretty sure he had much fun uploading the picchas from work
then he was treated to a seafood feast at Buntal
by Aprilia and the gang
before i went over to Pica to hook up with him
we were not the only ones




Fahrie came by to say hi
Cheryse and Yen also popped by
Marissa and Emil swung by to blow a kiss or two
Pica ended up quite packed full with John's friend
oh James came by as well
just in time for me to catch a piccha
before i headed home
after a tiring day ....



soon my day will come around
how will i celebrate it

what is my secret wish gift?

it has been

a while since i last clubbed
i really miss those times
when i could go out and dance to the tunes
with a couple of good friends
these days are hard to come by now
everyone of us have their own agenda
it's hard to get together for dinner, let alone a good night out

these pictures are to remind me of the good times we had
pre-HK days when everything was still fine and dandy
when the flowers smelt nice and planet earth was still healthy green
to cut the chase
the pictures were taken when i was still stick skin
close to stick skin la......
so what if i love thinspiration
don tell me to start eating bla bla stop dieting




















one thing that i've noticed is that
the more i wanna lose weight
the more i gain
or maybe, just maybe i should think about gaining weight
i know it sounds ridiculous
and at 50.9kg i really dread going to the gym right now
cause muscle weighs heavier... yadda yadda yadda

on a separate note
i'm extra happy i got a call from Dr Ed today
yay!
