A dose of pink

it’s that time of the year
festive seasons galore, parties, weddings etc
make you wanna go out partying and all
and shopping, definitely

moving on swiftly
i was invited to baby Suwen’s pre-birthday/Xmas party

*************************
the invite read

Dear all,
its my favorite month of the year again
cause it is the month we celebrate Christmas, New Year and
my birthday

i will be celebrating my XXth birthday earlier this year
on the 24th December and
you are invited to join us at

Venue: SOHO 1st Floor
Time: 10pm
Dress code: Pink to your undies
Gift: Only expensive ones are welcome ;)

*************************

that got me excited

because i have not been to a themed party in yonks!!
although my get-up wasn’t exactly in the pinkest of the shade
i chose one that showed a subtle shade of pink
the present? pink of course, hehe

i’ll let the picchas do the talking ;)

Greetings

merry christmas

first of all i would like to wish everybody a blessed Christmas
filled with joy, love and laughter
and all things good
after all, tis the season to be jolly

sadly this is not the case for me, not that i want to be a killjoy
on this happy day

but anyway, anyhow
maybe a long nap and i mean really long
would hold more promises than what i’m going through now

as we all know, i’ve been out of the clubbing circuit
for quite some time now
so last night was quite invigorating

or refreshing as i attended Su Wen’s birthday bash
it certainly brought back alot of memories
days when i frequented pubs and what nots almost every weekend

anyway moving on swiftly
i want to thank all of those who made this Christmas a better day
and to the bad people, get out of my life
and if Santa really exists (no harm thinking he does)

all i want for Christmas is

my last want is for Fifi to live real real long
so we can accompany each other
even in old age
that completes my Christmas wants

who says it has to materialize?
it is just a top ten list that i compiled out of boredom
going to the beach
*looking up at the sky, don’t rain on my parade
get the pun? nemind

The year of the tiger

hopefully has alot of happiness and everything pretty in store for me
not complaining about 2009 but it could be better
quiet year for me and the family
a few houses was all we visited
and we kept ourselves entertained with other things we normally don't have time for
what's funny is that i didn't manage to catch even one movie during the festive season
almost watched one but decided to give the tickets away
the crowd was unbearable and waiting time of about an hour turned me off

one good news though
at least the numbers on the scale are going down
and fingers crossed they'd continue the trend
then i'd be the happiest frump alive!!
till then there won't be any pictures
haha so kiasu

xoxo

e wishes happy new year to everyone

December 14, 2009

busiest time

of the year is the month of December
with Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations
bonuses and renewing vehicle road taxes
a to z you name it
i have been layan-ing my cousins from Singapore
who came to visit last month
tomorrow my relatives from all over will gather in Kuching
for my cousin's wedding reception
which will take place on the 17th of this month

funnily enough this year i'm not expecting to celebrate the festive seasons
in a grand way like how i'd normally do
find that perfect dress, and it'd have to be two
since there will be Christmas eve and New Year's eve
in fact i'm looking forward to a more mellow night
perhaps a simple dinner or gathering with a few close friends
anythehoots, this is the month to be broke
another friend of mine is getting married this month
;)

note to self: pls stay away from all fried, greasy and oily food

that time of

the year is here again
beautiful lit-up trees and christmas jingles
everywhere you go
tis the season to be jolly
give and exchange of presents
it is just wonderful
Pavilion's decoration was almost the same as last year's
this year they added a few more trees
last year it was just one massive tree

slap me
i don't believe it
one year has slipped by so fast
i can't admit i'm not ageing
wonder if i'll see the same deco next year
i think best deco for shopping mall went to Mid-valley last year
KLCC had a massive tree in the middle of the courtyard
as did Pavilion at the front door
i'm sure they can't rival that of Singapore's Orchard Road
or Nathan Road in Hong Kong

which reminded me
there wasn't a christmas tree in my hotel lobby
i remember last year there was a very nice one in Concorde hotel
one massive one in the lobby
and two small ones in front of the main door
hmmph Piccolo sucks
no Christmas tree
wahahhah

ah better than nothing
unfortunately i didn't have time to visit other shopping malls in KL
it was just KLCC the afternoon i arrived
followed by Sungei Wang and Pavilion
for the next few days
you never have enough time in KL
you agree with me girls?
sighz
