the haze

where i live is really bad

bad as it is
it isn't as bad as it was
eight to nine years ago
when you could hardly see more than 10m
forgot how it was rated
but it was one bad August

August-September is the month
when our neighbors start burning
their plots of lands
so that they can regrow their crops
for harvest in June
it's all fair if they consume all this bad air
but when it gets blown over
and we have to bear the brunt of it
that makes us all pissed hard

i've been going around in a dusty looking car
woe is me
well ok

gotta hit the shower for work later
